Homecoming 2022

Williamson is looking forward to welcoming our alumni, friends and family back to campus for Homecoming 2022 on Saturday, October 15. Grab your favorite Williamson gear and head to campus to meet-up with old friends, and relive good memories!

Homecoming is the perfect time to reconnect with the Williamson community, be reminded of the extraordinary gift of the Williamson education, and rekindle your pride as a Williamson graduate. JOIN US!

Guests are encouraged to bring and enjoy a picnic lunch on the grounds. Concessions will be available for purchase from the Williamson Auxiliary and student groups during the football game.

Schedule of Events

Saturday, October 15, 2022

8:00AM-1:00PM – Welcome Center (Rowan Hall Lineup Pad)

  • Alumni and friends are invited to stop by the Welcome Center – sign-in and pick-up a Homecoming schedule.

9:00AM – Alumni/Student Soccer Game (Betty & Russ 5W0 Harvey Field) [Watch Livestream Broadcast online – link coming soon]

10:00AM – Alumni/Student Lacrosse Game (Betty & Russ 5W0 Harvey Field) [Watch Livestream Broadcast online – link coming soon]

  • Get back on the field for friendly competition with some of our student athletes.

Alumni interested in playing in the soccer or lacrosse game, register to participate by October 7. To register, email Laura Brown, director of alumni relations at alumni@williamson.edu or call 610-566-1776, ext. 420. Registered alumni players are to check-in and pick up team t-shirt at Harvey Field on Saturday before the game.

9:00AM-11:30AM – Shop Open House

  • Stop by your shop and meet the instructors.

9:00AM-12:30PM – School Store open (Byers Hall, Cottage Row)

11:00AM-12:15PM – Alumni & Friends Chapel Reception (Clara Schrenk Memorial Chapel & Shrigley Library)

  • Hosted by President Mike Rounds and Rev. Mark Specht 7W7. Catch-up with faculty members, view the archives, and tour the newly-constructed Thomas and Agnes Heenan Chapel Mezzanine.

12:30PM – Concessions & Kid Zone (baseball field)

  • Visit the concessions area and Kid Zone for a selection of great food offered by student groups, the annual Williamson Auxiliary baked goods and craft sale, Williamson athletic merchandise, and some fun bounce houses for the kids!

12:30PM – Williamson Association of Alumni (WAA) Tent (Baseball Field)

  • Alumni and families are invited to meet-up at the WAA tent to pick up alumni swag, enter the alumni raffle, meet the WAA officers and get a ticket for your first-round of refreshments at the Alumni Post-Game ‘Tailgate’ courtesy of the WAA.

1:00PM – Homecoming Football Game (Betty and Russ 5W0 Harvey Field) [Watch Livestream Broadcast online – link coming soon]

  • Cheer on the Mechanics as they take the field vs. the NJ Warriors.
  • Halftime Salute to Alumni – All alumni are invited to the 50-yard line at halftime to be recognized by the Williamson community. A group photo will be taken – don’t miss it!

4:00PM-6:00PM – Alumni Post-Game ‘Tailgate’ (Casa Mia Italian Bar & Grill, 1175 W. Baltimore Pike, Media)

  • Alumni and friends are invited to join the Williamson Association of Alumni for a post-game party! Appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages included. Cash Bar. 
  • Be sure to stop by the WAA tent during the Homecoming football game to pick-up a ticket for your first-round of refreshments courtesy of the WAA.
