The Academic Year

The academic year consists of fall and spring semesters. Classes regularly begin on the Wednesday preceding Labor Day and run until just before Christmas. Classes resume in mid-January and conclude with two weeks of campus clean-up and maintenance until Commencement and Alumni Day, the Friday and Saturday following Memorial Day. No classes are held on Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, and designated faculty in-service days.
