Giving to Williamson is Important Now & for the Future
(1/08) Several years ago, I wrote an article for the Williamsonian describing why Williamson is a very expensive School to operate. It was a little tongue in cheek. I explained why Williamson is, in fact, a difficult school to operate with a small budget. I also assured donors that we wanted to continue to operate on a per student basis of about half the amount needed by an average American private co llege.

Reflections on Williamson from John Brown 8W5
(11/07) When I started in Williamson’s Carpentry Program 25 years ago, I learned that the School was founded because of the generosity and commitment of one man – Isaiah V. Williamson. Mr. Williamson’s vision – to provide a values-based education to deserving young men – has been the core of the Williamson education since 1888. For more than a century, the School has not only perpetuated this vision, but, carried on the same spirit of philanthropy upon which it was founded. (more...)
