Fall Sports Finish Strong

The Williamson soccer team went undefeated in league play to capture the Eastern State Soccer League title for the first time since 2001!  Also during the season head coach Tony Wolski earned his 100th career victory while at Williamson becoming just the 3rd coach in school history to top the 100 win plateau.

The football team made tremendous strides over the course of the season under 1st year head coach Bill Haines. The team managed to win 3 out of their last 4 games with their only loss in that stretch being the Homecoming game which was one for the ages (Williamson lost 19-13 in double-overtime.)  Overall there is a new-found excitement about the program that hasn’t existed for years and the future looks extremely bright for football at Williamson.

The cross country team finished 5th in the NJCAA Region XIX championships this year after winning the event the previous two seasons.  Despite lacking several of their key runners for stretches of the season, the team still managed to show progress and hopefully will regain their championship form again in 2007.
