What is a Class Representative?

Class Representatives are designated to represent their classes at The Williamson School Alumni Association meetings. Attendance and participation give each class an opportunity to become an integral part of our Alumni Association.

In addition, Class Reps maintain communication and news among class members. Three times a year, Carl Vairo, Director of Public Relations, proposes a deadline for class news. Each article is printed in The Williamsonian for all alumni to read. Such information as class reunions, change of address, employment, children, travel and general chit-chat are all interesting and important to your classmates.

Every class needs at least one "spark plug," that person who maintains an active and informed class. This role becomes one of a shepherd, so to speak, keeping the class involved, staying active and communicating. Your class needs your representation.

Further questions or concerns regarding the role of the class representative may be directed to Carl Vairo; Jim Bowdler 8W8, Association President; or me. I look forward to working with all of you in order to promote more active participation and communication among our alumni.
