by Gregg Trexler

Twelve Juniors from the Class of 0W8 received accolades at the 12th annual Student Achievement Awards Dinner at The Towne House Restaurant on April 18, honoring Juniors for their excellent academic achievements.

The event was hosted by Williamson’s Alumni Association and was attended by 74 students, alumni, parents, guests, administrative staff and instructors.

William J. Bonenberger 7W9, Vice Chairman of Williamson’s Board of Trustees and President of W.B. Homes, Inc., was the featured speaker.  His address was followed by remarks from Wayne Watson 4W8, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Paul A, Reid, President.

After the presentation of Awards, Russ Harvey 5W0 led the Juniors in an excellent singing of “Williamson, Our Williamson,” the School’s alma mater.

The event was created by Charles Trofe 4W9 in 1995 while he was president of Williamson’s Alumni Association in an effort to provide the opportunity for the Association to honor students for academic excellence.
