First Career Fair of 2012 Rapidly Approaching

Alumni who are looking for employment or who just want to “see what’s out there” should attend the 2012 Career Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 15, in the Restall Sports Center. There will be representatives from many companies covering a wide range of fields on hand to answer questions. Reservations are not required, just show up

Margaret Kingham, Fair coordinator and Williamson’s placement director, said “This is an excellent opportunity for our alumni who want to find a new position to meet with many employers at one time in one room. It’s too good an opportunity to pass up. Many of the company representatives in attendance will be Williamson grads, so that is another plus for making connections with employers.”

The fairs were started several years ago to help seniors find their first employment after graduation and to help juniors and freshmen find part-time jobs, make some possible career contacts, and gain some valuable experience in the job search process.
