The slogan states clearly the mission of the capital funding initiative we are calling The Legacy Campaign.  While we recognize the great foundation established by our founder, Isaiah Vansant Williamson, we see the long range implications of securing a new legacy for the School's next 100 years.

On December 8, 2007, President Paul Reid announced the School's entrance into the public phase of this Campaign with the objective of raising $25 million, the largest capital initiative in the Williamson history.

In this effort we seek to fulfill the objectives of the strategic plan formed in 2003, with the intention of working through three main objectives: reaffirming educational excellence through annual giving; enriching the student experience by revitalizing the campus; and, most critically, growing the endowment so Williamson can remain a "free" school and continue to provide a superb education to deserving students well into this new century.
